COVID - 19 PROTOCOLS
COVID-19 ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
By participating in skateboarding lessons with THE SKATESIDE, YOU acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that your child(ren) and yourself may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending THE SKATESIDE and that such exposure may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death.
WEARING A MASK
Wearing a mask is no longer mandatory. It is the parent's decision if you would like your child to wear a cloth mask before and during the lesson. Your coach will allow frequent resting and water breaks. If your child needs a breather, the coach can step back to allow that.
TEMPERATURE CHECK / SICKNESS
Please check your and your child‘s temperature before leaving the house for the lesson. If your child has a fever please let us know by emailing us at info@theskateside.com and make sure to keep your child home and away from others. If your child is sick he/she needs to stay at home. We appreciate everyone's safety but a missed lesson is a forfeited lesson.
BE READY
Please make sure your child is wearing all protective gear before the lesson starts, wrist guard included.
EQUIPMENT
There will be no sharing of equipment at any point before, during, or after the lesson. If you or your child is missing equipment you can purchase it from us ahead of time and request a delivery at your lesson's location. Please see our store for details. Any questions please email us at info@theskateside.com to confirm we can deliver on the requested day at your location.
HAND-SANITIZING
Please bring your own hand sanitizer/wipes.
SPECTATORS/WAITING AROUND
For safety reasons, spectators please stay outside of the skating area/park or at least 6ft away from the lesson.
