COVID-19 ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
By participating in skateboarding lessons or camps with THE SKATESIDE, YOU acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that your child(ren) and yourself may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending THE SKATESIDE and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death.
TEMPERATURE CHECK / SICKNESS
Please check you and your child‘s temperature before leaving the house for their lesson. If your child has a fever please let us know by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org and make sure to keep your child home and away from others. If your child is sick he/she needs to stay at home.
WEARING A MASK
Please make sure your child wears a cloth mask before and during camp. Your coach will allow frequent resting and water breaks. If necessary, your child could lower his mask to better breathe during exercises while the coach and other students steps back to allow an even further distance. Please review what CDC says and suggests about cloth masks https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html.
Please be aware that your coach will be at least 6ft from the student/s at all times. In a semi-private lesson, students will be at least 6ft from each other. There will be no physical touch at any point during camp. Your coach will give the student/s directions to follow and guidance from at least 6ft distance.
Skate Parks are not quite open yet. Our modified lesson will take place on a flat area where students can work on flat ground skills. Flat ground skills are essential skills to a skater. Your coach can decide to work on more obstacles based on what’s around your location.
